This patch moves the IP checksum algorithm into commonlib to prepare for
it being shared with libpayload. The current implementation is ancient
and pretty hard to read (and does some unnecessary questionable things
like the type-punning stuff which leads to suboptimal code generation),
so this reimplements it from scratch (that also helps with the
licensing).
This algorithm is prepared to take in a pre-calculated "wide" checksum
in a machine-register-sized data type which is then narrowed down to 16
bits (see RFC 1071 for why that's valid). This isn't used yet (and the
code will get optimized out), but will be used later in this patch
series for architecture-specific optimization.

Macros can be confusing on their own; hiding commas make things worse.
This can sometimes be downright misleading. A "good" example would be
the code in soc/intel/xeon_sp/spr/chip.c:
CHIP_NAME("Intel SapphireRapids-SP").enable_dev = chip_enable_dev,
This appears as CHIP_NAME() being some struct when in fact these are
defining 2 separate members of the same struct.
It was decided to remove this macro altogether, as it does not do
anything special and incurs a maintenance burden.

The .inc suffix is confusing to various tools as it's not specific to
Makefiles. This means that editors don't recognize the files, and don't
open them with highlighting and any other specific editor functionality.
This issue is also seen in the release notes generation script where
Makefiles get renamed before running cloc.

To help identify the licenses of the various files contained in the
coreboot source, we've added SPDX headers to the top of all of the
.c and .h files. This extends that practice to Makefiles.
Any file in the coreboot project without a specific license is bound
to the license of the overall coreboot project, GPL Version 2.
This patch adds the GPL V2 license identifier to the top of all
makefiles in the drivers directory that don't already have an SPDX
license line at the top.

Add _STA field entry for r8168 ACPI device and set to
ACPI_STATUS_DEVICE_HIDDEN_ON in order to hide device from
OS (Windows) as there is no driver needed (or available).
Windows correctly attaches drivers to the PCIe device, the
separate ACPI device is unused and unneeded.
Linux is unaffected as it does not use the ACPI device status.

Some older devices use the vpd key 'ethernet_mac' vs 'ethernet_mac0'
for the first/only LAN NIC, so don't treat the key lookup as an error.
If no MAC is able to be found, another error will be printed later
in the driver init.

lookup failure printk output at warning level.

This patch provides the functionality to enable downshift on Marvell
PHY. By setting a downshift counter, the PHY is correspondingly often
attempted to establish Gigabit link before the PHY downshifts to the
next highest speed. The range is limited to 8 trials. To activate
downshift, a software reset must follow to take effect.

Add a new configuration parameter "enable_aspm_l1_2".
Write value 0xe059000f to register offset 0xb0 to allow kernel driver to
enable ASPM L1.2.
Use Kconfig "PCIEXP_ASPM" and "enable_aspm_l1_2" to decide whether to
enable ASPM L1.2.

Now that the console system itself will clearly differentiate loglevels,
it is no longer necessary to explicitly add "ERROR: " in front of every
BIOS_ERR message to help it stand out more (and allow automated tooling
to grep for it). Removing all these extra .rodata characters should save
us a nice little amount of binary size.
This patch was created by running

The Realtek RTL8125 has four registers for four leds
and a feature config register.
We use led0 and led2 in brask, so modify ethernet driver.
Those registers' IO address are based on RTL8125 datasheet.

The `find_resource` function will never return null (will die instead).
In cases where the existing code already accounts for null pointers, it
is better to use `probe_resource` instead, which returns a null pointer
instead of dying.

Not all platforms need to generate power resources, but the code does
not get optimized out at build time because the devicetree gets
compiled into a linked list. As this code pulls in some heavy ACPI
dependencies that is even implemented with weak empty function it
makes sense to optimize out this code using a Kconfig constant.
This saves 1.5K in ramstage size on gigabyte/ga-945gcm-s2l.

In pursuit of the eventual goal of removing cbfs_boot_locate() (and
direct rdev access) from CBFS APIs, this patch replaces all remaining
"simple" uses of the function call that can easily be replaced by the
newer APIs (like cbfs_load() or cbfs_map()). Some cases of
cbfs_boot_locate() remain that will be more complicated to solve.

Convert the remaining files in src/drivers to use SPDX identifiers.
int15.h and default_brightness_levels.asl did not have license headers,
but they were both copied from other GPL2 files, so they should be under
the GPL2 as well.
ne2k.c and drm_dp_helper.h are licensed under custom BSD-like licenses
that do not have an SPDX equivalent, so they are added as exceptions
to the license header lint.

This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living
under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture
independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any
architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own
directory.
In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into
multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by
running the following command:

injecting generators. We are filling SSDTs and injecting into the DSDT.

always have a zero concat to the end.

Orginally fetch_mac_string_vpd() has been special cased around
a device_index of 0/1 that causes a number of edge cases and
complexity when attempting to refactor to deal with the revised
VPD format. The following change prepares the ground work by
splitting up the functional into logical workers where we can
deal with each edge case in a more bounded way.
The background here is that the format for VPD has changed s.t. the
first NIC should always have a zero concat to the end. The details

Turns out when going into S0ix we want the kernel to toggle de-assert to 0 for
the ISOLATE# pin on the NIC for S0ix not to be woken by PCIe traffic on PCH.
Upon resume the ISOLATE# pin on the NIC is then re-asserted for it to become
lively again.

* Add function to generate unique _UID using CRC32
* Add function to write the _UID based on a device's ACPI path
ACPI devices that have the same _HID must use different _UID.
Linux doesn't care about _UID if it's not used.
Windows 10 verifies the ACPI code on boot and BSODs if two devices
with the same _HID share the same _UID.
Fixes BSOD seen on Windows 10.
